The Great Cominatrix

I do many things.
---
Apparently some very thick people take offense to my previous blog heading so whatever. Here’s how it is: If you and I are in a discussion, I will be remaining relatively calm, I will keep personal attacks away, but I will not consider what you are saying unless you provide some good information. Barring that, I expect the respect I give. You don’t have to like me or agree with me, but if you act like I child with me, your opinion becomes less valid.
----
Outside of my attempts at discussion, you can find tons and tons and tons of shipping and girlslash and fan-girling. There’s your warning.
----
Please employ the green theme whilst viewing this blog as I made it just for you all. It’s super attractive, I promise.

Talk to me and ask me stuff because I'm perpetually bored!

Tumblr’s getting a dashboard redesign today, which will allow people to post straight from the dashboard rather than a separate interface. You know, like Twitter. ”Now you’re making posts the same way you’re reading them,” the company says. Thoughts?

tumblr take note:
if we wanted an interface like twitter
we would BE ON TWITTER.
if we wanted things to be like a social media site as opposed to a media blogging site, we would be on a SOCIAL MEDIA SITE.
the reason people like[d] this site was because it had a way of doing things unlike the other sites that makes[made] it pleasing to us to be here. these changes are limiting any abilities we once had on this site and making your users really kind of annoyed, if you havent noticed.
we have complained about changes before, but id say this messes with functionality enough to really tip the scales for some users.
eventually the changes will go into effect for everyone, myself included, and i for one am not looking forward to it.
by all means, make changes that make the site function better. we may not always like them, but if a post limit means we get less error hours then ok, well deal. but when a large portion of your users react poorly to a pretty annoying change that hinders function with no foreseeable upside, i think perhaps you should start asking why most of your users came here.
