Here’s how it is: If you and I are in a discussion, I will be remaining relatively calm, I will keep personal attacks away, but I will not consider what you are saying unless you provide some good information. Barring that, I expect the respect I give. You don’t have to like me or agree with me, but if you act like I child with me, your opinion becomes less valid.

okay, so you want people to be treated equally, right? calling a person out on being white, cis, or straight is not treating people equally. 

like, all of these social justice bloggers, whether they’re being serious or not, are making me feel wrong about being a white cis female. 

no one, absolutely no one, should be made to feel bad about who they are.
